The Anxiety, Trauma & Depression Treatment Center in St. George has been a trusted resource for adolescents and young adults whose current mental health treatment hasn’t been effective. Previously known as Life Launch Treatment Centers, we changed our name to better reflect our mission of providing personalized and compassionate care to the community.
We use the Resilience Method in our Intensive Outpatient Treatment programs. This scientifically backed approach helps individuals and families learn the skills to overcome mental health challenges. Our mission is to help you live a life free from anxiety, trauma, and depression.

Our center in St. George is known for its friendly community and beautiful natural surroundings and offers various therapies designed to help individuals heal and grow. In addition to our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), we provide treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
We also offer flexible options, including after-school programs, virtual support, and weekly individual and family therapy. Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) in St. George
For years, we have helped our community manage mental health challenges through Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for adolescents and young adults. Our IOPs use the Resilience Method, a proven way to support two age groups: adolescents aged 12-15 and young adults aged 16-26. These programs require 9-12 hours of participation each week. They include both group and individual therapy sessions, as well as weekly family sessions. We also offer virtual sessions, which provide flexibility for those who need it. Our structured programs offer a clear path to recovery. They equip clients with coping skills and emotional resilience to help them rebuild their lives.

If your teen’s therapist has suggested Intensive Outpatient treatment and you are having a hard time finding the right program because of time for either you or your teen. We have the solution. We have transformed our Intensive Outpatient Program to virtual. Our virtual program is the same as our in-person programs, run by our highly experienced and trained therapists and clinicians. This program has the same stellar results that our in-person programs have without travel time. Leslie VandeMerwe, LCMHC
Clinical Director
Clinical Director St. George - LCMHC she has worked with all ages in a variety of settings including residential, in home family preservation, private practice and outpatient therapy. Leslie has experience working with depression, self-harm, anxiety, OCD, PTSD/Trauma, bipolar disorder and eating disorders. She incorporates a variety of treatment modalities in including, DBT, CBT, IFS and EAP. Leslie uses her ability to empathize and connect with others to assist them in the process of owning their own stories, embracing their vulnerabilities, healing, and in finding purpose and joy. Leslie enjoys spending time with her three kids, camping, hiking and running.

Amanda Cavicchi, LMFT
Therapist
LMFT, Amanda started her mental health career as a Music Therapist, but quickly decided that she wanted to delve deeper into the psychological aspects of the human experience and returned to school to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Amanda has worked with adults, adolescents, couples and families in a variety of settings including school based mental health to forensics. She uses her background in creative psychotherapies to provide perspective to mental wellness. She has utilized this approach to help both children and adults overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

Shannon Hatch, ACMHC
Therapist
ACMHC Shannon is a trained Accelerated Resolution Therapist who specializes in helping her clients overcome anxiety, depression, and trauma and in helping those of the LGBTQIA+ community. She has been an educator for 30 years and also currently works as a middle school counselor. She is passionate about helping adolescents and young adults navigate the complexities of life. During Shannon’s free time she enjoys being outdoors, riding horses, reading and traveling.
